Pictures so far

I must admit, I have been absolutely terrible at this whole blog thing. To be honest, I had a feeling it was going to be this way so I never really told anyone about it. Here are a few pictures from my trip to Nicaragua so far...

This one is of the streets of Granada. We spent our first few days here, getting aquainted with Nicaragua and the colorful city!

Okay...something happened to the pictures and this one was the only one I could upload. Sorry!

Sunny San Jose

Well, maybe not so sunny, but I couldn't think of anything else that sounded as nice. I have finally arrived! After hours of flying and time spent at several different airports, I landed in Costa Rica. With wonderful directions from my friend Kristin, who lives here now, I boarded a local bus with confidence. The bus was supposed to be 20 minutes, but turned out to be 45. No problem, I arrived at my stop and got in a cab for the last 5 minutes to her house. An hour (AN HOUR!!!!) later, I finally spotted her casa papaya and hopped out. Unfortunately I had no colones and had to have the cab driver wait while I summoned Kristin to my rescue. With all that behind me, I hugged Kristin and Audrey and flopped down on the couch. I had been travelling for 15 hours! Note to self...NEVER arrive into San Jose during rush hour! :)

Why is anyone awake this early?!?

Well, it's time for another trip to a new country! My flight for Costa Rica leaves in 3 hours and as I sit here on the computer I can only wonder..."what was Audrey thinking booking me a flight this early?!?" It's 4 am. That's about all I have to say about that.

I'll be in Costa Rica by 4 o'clock this afternoon and then in Nicaragua by tomorrow! What will we see? What will we do? Who will we meet? Only time will tell. I can't wait!!
